VIP Vitality Yoga Group
Our World has changed and these are indeed strange times. To allow you to still have access to all the benefits of yoga and the connection of a group of fellow yogis, we have launched the VIP Vitality Yoga Group. This group gives you access to any or all of our live classes plus one recorded class a week and lots of bonus material. You can choose a weekly subscription or save by choosing a monthly subscription. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
Our classes are suitable for all ages and all experience levels. Donna is an experienced registered yoga teacher (e-RYT) with the Yoga Alliance and is a qualified Zen Yoga Teacher, Yin Yoga Teacher and Relax Kids Yoga Teacher. She also has a particular interest in restorative yoga, yoga for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and pre-natal yoga. She has been teaching since 2012 and practising yoga for over 25 years.
Zen Yoga Flow
A slow, vinyasa flow class with a focus on mindfulness of the breath and body. We finish every class with a short meditation. Suitable for all levels.
Yin Yoga & Meditation
A very slow, floor based yin yoga class with a focus on alleviating tension and promoting deep relaxation. Extended meditation to finish.
Chill Out Yoga
A super relaxed session designed to bring down your stress levels and prepare you for sleep.
Yoga Nidra translates as Yogic Sleep and is often described as yoga for your brain. A classes that explores the line between asleep and awake and promises bone deep relaxation.
Each week, a different live class will be recorded to build up a library of classes that you can watch any time. We will also have recorded posture exploration mini sessions.
Donna is running online mindfulness sessions for adults, children and tweens / teens. These are run on a pay what you can basis through Zoom and can be booked through the event on the Vitality with Donna Booth Facebook page.
Donna trained in Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Mindfulness for Insight through Zenways under Zen Master Daizan Roshi and in Japan under Zen Master Shinzan Roshi.
Donna has delivered mindfulness and wellbeing sessions for Dounreay, LGOWIT, The MS Society, Diabetes Scotland, The University of the Highlands & Islands, Police Scotland, Women’s Aid, The Highland Council and NHS Highland and is available for corporate courses and presentations.
She has taught Relax Kids classes in schools throughout the Highland Region and runs a Chill Skills Class in one of her local secondary schools with star of the show Frank the Therapy Pug. Donna is also the Mindfulness Expert for the Cheerful Children website.
Aimed at adults, this session will include some stretching, self-massage, developing your perfect safe space, mindful activities and a guided meditation.
Monday evenings 6pm
Some fun for the wee ones while you get a chance to relax. We’ll do yoga, games, story-telling, art activities, mindfulness and end with guided visualisations.
Time for your tweens and teens to chill out and learn some chill skills. We’ll do some yoga, mindful activities, relaxation tips and tricks and will end with a guided relaxation or meditation.
