Yoga & Mindfulness Classes

'Quiet the mind and the soul will speak'


Our classes are suitable for all ages and all experience levels.  Classes are kept to a maximum of twelve to allow for one to one interaction and teaching. Classes run in six week blocks at a cost of £36 per block. 

Donna is an experienced registered yoga teacher (e-RYT) with the Yoga Alliance and is a qualified Zen Yoga Teacher, Yin Yoga Teacher and Relax Kids Yoga Teacher. She also has a particular interest in restorative yoga, yoga for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and pre-natal yoga. She has been teaching since 2012 and practising yoga for over 25 years.

Zen Yoga Flow

A slow, vinyasa flow class with a focus on mindfulness of the breath and body. We finish every class with a short meditation. Suitable for all levels.

Wednesday 9.30am & 5.30pm

Yin Yoga & Meditation

A very slow, floor based yin yoga class with a focus on alleviating tension and promoting deep relaxation. Extended meditation to finish.

Friday 5.30pm

Private Sessions

Private sessions are completely tailored to the individuals needs and are suitable for all levels and abilities, including those with special needs.

Our mindfulness courses are suitable for beginners or anyone with a bit of experience in meditation or mindfulness.  Courses are run in small groups with a maximum of six attendees to allow for one to one interaction and teaching. We run over eight sessions at a investment of £160 per course or £120 for unwaged / low waged / student / OAP

Donna trained in Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Mindfulness for Insight through Zenways under Zen Master Daizan Roshi and in Japan under Zen Master Shinzan Roshi.

Donna has delivered mindfulness and wellbeing sessions for Dounreay, LGOWIT, The MS Society, Diabetes Scotland, The University of the Highlands & Islands, Police Scotland, Women’s Aid, The Highland Council and NHS Highland and is available for corporate courses and presentations.

She has taught Relax Kids classes in schools throughout the Highland Region and runs a Chill Skills Class in one of her local secondary schools with star of the show Frank the Therapy Pug. Donna is also the Mindfulness Expert for the Cheerful Children website.

Mindfulness  Group

Meeting every two weeks, in four week blocks. Each block will focus on a particular theme and will include discussion, mindful activities and meditation.

Mindfulness for Wellbeing

Our Mindfulness for wellbeing course is an excellent introduction to mindfulness. We look at areas such as stress, physical and emotional pain, dealing with change, roles and responsibilities and much more.

The course is very practical and run in very small groups to allow plenty of opportunity for sharing.

Mindfulness for Insight

This course is for those who are interested in learning about the more spiritual aspects of mindfulness and gaining deeper insight into their own lives. Although it follows on well from the wellbeing course, it can also be taken as a stand alone.
